BOB’S BIG RIG CAFE RECIPE
GROUND MEAT MIXTURE
This is the basic beginning of so many recipes like Spaghetti, Tacos, Stuffed Bell
Peppers... even Hamburger Helper. I simply prepare one of these dishes while at
home and cook an extra pound of Ground Meat at the same time.
MEAT
Ingredients
Gound Meat
Onion
Spices - Salt/Pepper or Tony Cachere’s Creole Seasoning
Quart Size Freezer Bags
Preparation
Cook Ground Meat with diced Onion
Drain extra fat
Add whatever spices you wish
Mix Well
Storage
Allow the mixture to cool a bit
Place approx. 1⁄2 cup in Freezer Bags
Place them on a cookie sheet or something flat and freeze
*** This way, they will take up less room in the truck freezer ***

Nachos, Shepherd’s Pie, Hamburger Mac & Cheese, Burritos, etc.
SHEPHERD'S PIE
Ingredients
Ground Meat Mixture (from home)
Small Can Green Beans
Tub of Instant Mashed Potatoes
Shredded Cheese (optional)
Salt/Pepper
Paper Bowl
Preparation
Ground Meat Mixture (approx. 1/3 bowl)
Drain Green Beans and add to bowl
Prepare Mashed Potatoes according to directions
Dump the Potatoes on top of the Meat and Beans.
Add Cheese and salt/pepper if you wish
